You pay only for your prints and before you cringe – they start at £8 and there is no minimum spend (unlike some other big photography companies, we feel you should know exactly what you are paying before you even have the shoot.) Why are we so affordable? Its well known that we are in a digital age – the printing process is becoming cheaper every day, as well as canvases and even framing. Studio Lotus believes that we should be passing these savings unto you – because without you, we dont have a job. And who is our target customer? Parents, mums and dads, grandparents… and lets be honest..kids are already expensive enough without having to break the bank once or twice a year to celebrate those special moments or just capture some gorgeous grins.
We dont want you to have to scrimp and save..we want you to be able to say ‘Lets do some portraits and have some fun doing it!’ And thats where Studio Lotus comes in. We are dedicated to reminding the world that family photography is about…Family.. about the connections, the personality and the true individuality which is so often lost in modern photography. We feel every photoshoot we undertake should be as unique as possible – this is why we especially prefer to do our shoots either in your own home (seriously, we need so little space to work its nutty) or on location perhaps in a park or even at the seaside. Because kids (and some pets, for that matter) really, truly shine in familiar environments and they completely light up when they are outdoors with the sun on their face and the wind whipping at thier parkas.
You will NEVER capture that in a studio setting, not even with a wind machine and a solar light.
But..it’s England, I hear you say? There isn’t enough sunshine, and its rainy? Well, Studio Lotus can capture gorgeous portraits of your little ones stomping in puddles with colourful kit on just as easily as if they were running along the grass in a T-shirt. And it is well understood that some of the best light is often when it is a bit overcast . So really, isn’t it time you booked a really fun photography experience?
